The project was originally approved by the Town Council in June of 2024. Owner Beverly Milligan tells Beach Talk Radio News that she’s hoping for final approval of the Development Order by the end of this year, then it’ll be another 10 months of design and permitting.
On Tuesday, the Fort Myers Beach Local Planning Agency approved an amendment to the project’s original CPD that will allow Myerside to serve alcohol at their outdoor resort pool for guests and an outdoor area of the restaurant, which will be open to the public.
