Miami to Naples: Patchy Dense Fog Could Impact Morning Travel 2–8 AM Sunday

Miami, FL – The National Weather Service in Miami warns that patchy dense fog could develop across parts of South Florida early Sunday morning, potentially creating hazardous driving conditions in low-lying and inland areas.

According to the NWS, calm winds, clear skies, and lingering surface moisture will combine to produce areas of fog between 2 a.m. and 8 a.m. Sunday, with the highest risk between 4 a.m. and 8 a.m.. The western half of South Florida, including the nearshore Gulf waters, has the greatest chance of seeing visibility drop to ¼ mile or less
