Charity for Change hosts record-breaking fundraising gala in Naples

NAPLES, Fla. — Charity for Change announced Thursday it hosted a fundraising gala that raised more than $400,000 and drew a sold-out crowd at the Naples Grande Beach Resort on Nov. 1, which organizers touted as a record-breaking night.

The gala, “Planting Seeds of Humanity,” supported the Naples-based nonprofit organization. Charity for Change provides a character education and mental wellness program to elementary school children, which the organization says is meant to enhance academics while teaching resilience and community involvement through charitable activities.

According to the organization in a press release, Charity for Change serves more than 25,500 students from 451 schools across Florida. Nationally, the program’s curriculum is being used in 20 states…
