The driver of a FedEx truck and a woman in another vehicle were killed in a crash on the Florida’s Turnpike in Broward County Friday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol officials.
The crash happened at around 6:49 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the Turnpike at Mile Marker 55, where it meets Interstate 595.
According to FHP, the crash involved a 2021 Mercedes Benz SUV and a 2015 Freightliner pulling two trailers. Video shows the latter vehicle with the FedEx logo.
