Brandon and Caitlin Schewe launched Canary Club this past June. The location sits inside the Waterline Bonita Springs Street Retail building on Old 41 Road. Guests can try wood-fired pizzas alongside shareable plates that pull from Middle Eastern cooking traditions.
This marks the third venture the Schewes have started in downtown Bonita Springs in six years. The duo also runs The Bohemian and Downtown Coffee and Wine Co.
“We wanted to do something different,” said Brandon, according to News-Press. “With construction prices and rising food costs, I thought what would make sense from a business standpoint. I wanted what I do to last. And do it cost efficiently. To do that, I got a wood-fired pizza oven.”…
