New Naples restaurants debut & old favorites announce holiday plans

Naples Beach Club debuts new restaurant

The Merchant Room is now open at Naples Beach Club. The New American Brasserie restaurant is spearheaded by two-time James Beard Award winner Chef Gavin Kaysen. Classic Naples meets the Twin Cities in this new dining concept, as the interior design reflects the charm of Old Florida, but the menu offers a strong connection to Kaysen’s hometown of Minneapolis. Expect dry-aged steaks and house-made pasta, plus a plethora of Gulf seafood dishes.

Pelican Larry’s sells restaurant space

Pelican Larry’s Raw Bar & Grill on Immokalee Road closed in early November after nearly 10 years in business. The restaurant space now belongs to Tipsy Corner Inc. after a $500,000 transaction. The 5,700-square-foot space will soon become a new concept, which we’ll hopefully know more about next year.

La Salière hosting New Year’s Eve prix fixe experience

If you haven’t gotten a chance to dine at La Salière yet, New Year’s Eve is the perfect time. Enjoy the regular a la carte dinner menu through 7 p.m. or make a reservation for the 9 p.m. NYE prix fixe experience for $159 per person.
