How about the Developer paying for the improvements at State Road 44 and Morse Boulevard? They are the ones making all the money off of us. They should have known there would be a problem before they even sold the land to Walmart. The Developer is the one doing all the building, selling and renting and making all the money on it, but when they hand it off to the CDDs, the residents pay for everything. The bridge over the Lake Sumter bog they built, the so-called water tower at Brownwood, rec centers that are falling apart that have to be rebuilt, all of our executive golf courses that have gone to crap because the Developer hired lousy maintenance.
