Festival of Birds: Wet walks, crafting, kayak tours part of annual event

Given its name, it makes perfect sense that Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve hosts an annual Festival of Birds. A rookery is, after all, a place where birds hatch and grow.

This year’s event – the 22nd annual – runs Jan. 15-19.
