The 5th Avenue Car Club wants to build a car condominium project at 2740 Bayshore Drive. Plans include 31 two-story units. A seven-level automated storage tower will hold 466 vehicles. Fort Myers-based GCM Contracting Solutions purchased the 3.3-acre property on Nov. 20, 2025. They paid $4 million.
This project will replace Gulf Gate South, an 18-unit strip center with Baci Trattoria & Pizza, I Love Curry, Fernweh Ice Cream and Mario’s Hair Salon inside. Developers target mid-2027 to finish construction.
