After years of overcrowding concerns, Collier County’s animal shelter is reporting a sharp rise in adoptions.
County commissioners formally accepted Domestic Animal Services’ annual report Tuesday, Feb. 10. The report laid out how waived and reduced fees during fiscal year 2025 helped push adoption numbers higher, shorten shelter stays and cut long-term costs.
