A sheriff’s deputy in Florida was cracking down on speeders last week when a “rogue cow” snarled traffic until it was lassoed by its owner.
The Collier County Sheriff’s Office shared dashboard camera video of the cowboy maneuvers, which took place on State Road 82 on Tuesday, Feb. 17.
Cpl. David Mercado was on State Road 82 working a traffic operation targeting speeders when suddenly a cow appeared on the road. Mercado helped stop traffic along with Florida Highway Patrol while the cow’s owner jumped on a horse to chase the animal down…
