North Naples rocker Denny Laine worked side-by-side with Paul McCartney in their hugely popular band Wings. Together, they packed arenas in the ‘70s with hits like “Band on the Run,” “Live and Let Die” and “Silly Love Songs.”
Now — after Laine’s death in 2023 — a new book, documentary and upcoming exhibit at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame are celebrating the band and the musical partnership between rock icon McCartney of The Beatles, his wife Linda McCartney and Laine, the original lead singer and guitarist for classic-rock greats The Moody Blues.
