1. FRIDAY & SATURDAY: Spring Expo and Shell Art Sale on Marco Island
Discover the beauty of the sea at Marco Island Shell Club’s Spring Expo and Shell Art Sale from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., March 13 and 14 at New Life Community Church, 489 West Elkcam Circle on Marco Island.
“For two full days, guests can immerse themselves in a unique showcase of coastal artistry, education, and hands‑on fun, all inspired by the natural beauty of the sea,” wrote Cindy Konney, publicity chair for the Marco Island Shell Club.
2. SATURDAY: Naples St. Patrick’s Day Parade
It was on, then off, and now it’s back on again. The annual parade begins at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 14, beginning near St. Ann’s Church, then turns north onto Third Street South, heads east onto Fifth Avenue South and finishes near city hall on Eighth Street South.
3. THIS WEEKEND: India Fest in Fort Myers
The 35th annual festival features authentic Indian food and drinks, vendors, jewelry, cultural performances, live entertainment, a deejay, a fashion show and a henna beauty bar.
