The Greater Naples Chamber’s signature event, the Spirit of Naples: Celebrating Our City, Community and Country presented by Lee Health begins at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, April 16, at The Club at Olde Cypress, 7165 Treeline Drive—and if you haven’t secured your reservation yet, you now will need to take a chance on the waitlist, organizers of the Chamber event said.
One of the key aspects of the evening is the recognition of developer Scott Lutgert.
The event includes live music and networking during a cocktail reception, followed by a plated meal and an opportunity to support the Chamber’s work. The Chamber will celebrate the accomplishments of the past year and recognize Lutgert, the 2026 Outstanding Citizen of the Year. Lutgert is a prominent Naples real estate developer since 1970 and a community leader. He is recognized for key developments in the Naples area, including Park Shore and Mercato, among many others. He is co-founder of the Naples Winter Wine Fest and chair of the NCH Healthcare System board. He has served on the Florida Gulf Coast University board. For all this and more, he is recognized for his contributions to Southwest Florida.
