The deputy who stopped Genise Taylor, 24, on March 18 began his employment with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office less than two years ago.
A relatively new Collier County deputy who stopped a suspected drunken driver for speeding hours before she drove into oncoming traffic, killing a 96-year-old man, knew the woman.
