The King Family Foundation has donated $80,000 to the Fort Myers Beach Woman’s Club to support the Club’s ongoing Capital Campaign to rebuild its historic clubhouse, which was lost to Hurricane Ian.
This contribution marks another important step forward in the Club’s mission to restore a vital community gathering place that has served Fort Myers Beach for generations. Originally built in 1938 as a beach schoolhouse, the clubhouse stood as a hub for nonprofit activity, education, and connection until its destruction in September 2022.
