GOLDEN GATE ESTATES, Fla. — A newly released incident report revealed that a man reportedly shot and killed his neighbor on 8th Avenue Southeast in Golden Gate Estates on March 27, but no arrests have been made.
According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office’s incident report, deputies responded to a shooting at a home, and a man reportedly told 911 that his neighbor was dead after he shot a gun and thought he shot the neighbor.
Deputies said the man was sitting on the ground when they arrived, and he complied by putting his hands behind his back before he was detained.
