Nashville, Tenn. (WZTV) — Metro Nashville Police say a 17-year-old has been charged with vehicular homicide and reckless endangerment after a deadly wrong-way crash on Briley Parkway.
Police say the teen is being charged at Juvenile Court after driving the wrong way onto Briley Parkway just before 4:30 Saturday morning. The teen was driving a Ford F-150 pickup truck west in the eastbound lanes of Briley Parkway. An eastbound vehicle swerved to avoid the truck right before the truck crashed into a Chevrolet Cruz. MNPD confirmed that the driver who avoided the crash pulled over at the scene after seeing the crash happen in their rearview mirror.
The teen was taken to Vanderbilt and treated for minor injuries. They were arrested after they were discharged from the hospital…
