MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Mt. Juliet man facing multiple felonies in another county was taken into custody Thursday afternoon as a result of license plate recognition technology.
According to the Mt. Juliet Police Department, the 48-year-old was wanted out of Sumner County for felony evading, reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon, and reckless driving following an incident on Tuesday, June 2.
Law enforcement said the vehicle involved in that incident also fled from the MJPD shortly after midnight on Wednesday, June 3. However, officers discontinued the pursuit due to conditions at the time.
