Former maintenance worker sentenced for raping woman at Hendersonville apartment: ‘He abused a position of trust’

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A former maintenance man for a Hendersonville apartment complex will spend decades behind bars for burglarizing a unit and raping its tenant.

Nathan Charles Parks, 40, was sentenced Monday to 25 years in prison for aggravated rape, aggravated burglary and multiple counts of assault. Sumner County District Attorney General Thomas Dean announced the sentencing, noting Parks will not have the possibility of early release, probation or parole.
