NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A shooting that was reported just south of downtown Nashville prompted a police presence in the JC Napier area Thursday morning.
According to Metro Dispatch, the shooting was reported just before 10:30 a.m. in the 140 block of Charles E. Davis Boulevard.
Officers at the scene told News 2 that the Nashville Public Library’s Pruitt Branch was placed on lockdown as an investigation into the incident continued.

However, authorities did not provide any information about the circumstances of the shooting or if anyone had been injured.
