NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – After a hot and humid day, storms will develop late tonight.
Some patchy dense fog across parts of the Midstate this morning. This afternoon will be hot and muggy with highs around 90º, but heat index values could be upwards of 100º at times. Later this evening, some showers and thunderstorms will develop and move in from the west. A First Alert Weather Day has been issued because some of those storms could be strong to severe. Heavy downpours and gusty winds are the main threats. Rain will linger into Sunday morning.
