$25 million ‘anonymous’ gift to build multipurpose science facility at Vanderbilt University

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Vanderbilt University said Wednesday that “anonymous” donors have given the school $25 million to build “a bold new hub of innovation and discovery.”

The donation will be used to build a multipurpose science facility that Vanderbilt says “will shape the future of research and education on campus and beyond.”

Vanderbilt said the development will be located on the site of the former Stevenson 6 building and is expected to be the “state-of-the-art” home for faculty members of the College of Arts and Science, the School of Engineering and the School of Medicine Basic Sciences…
