5 charged after Middle Tennessee human trafficking investigation

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Five people, including three from Middle Tennessee, have been charged following a human trafficking investigation in the area, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said.

According to the TBI, a joint operation involving the TBI Human Trafficking Unit, the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office, the Hendersonville Police Department, the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, the Department of Homeland Security and the Internal Revenue Service conducted on June 11-12 resulted in the arrest of five men.
