Sony Music Nashville Signs Songwriter Max Alan.

Sony Music Nashville has signed Max Alan, a singer-songwriter from the coal-mining region of southwestern Pennsylvania. Alan’s 2024 self-released debut album, “Appalachian Lullaby,” recorded with his cousin in his childhood bedroom, built an organic following online. He has since released the single “Jericho” and EP “Already Left.” Alan released a new track, “Love When We Were Young,” on June 19.

“They were the first to really take a chance on me,” Alan said in a release. “I’m so excited to create meaningful music and have such a great crew supporting it.”

Alan is currently on tour supporting Josiah and the Bonnevilles and will open for Dylan Gossett and Charles Wesley Godwin on their co-headlining fall run, which kicks off Aug. 28 in Lubbock, TX…
