NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Metro Nashville Police Department is explaining what happened after a video circulated on social media showing officers handcuffing a 10-year-old boy in downtown Nashville.
Police said the child was walking alone on 4th Avenue just off Broadway at about 1 a.m. while carrying buckets and a milk crate.
MNPD said officers stopped and detained the boy due to his being in violation of the city’s juvenile curfew ordinance. Police said officers were concerned for the child’s welfare and did not want him to run away…
