NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A new Tennessee law expanding when deadly force can be used to protect personal property took effect on Wednesday, July 1.
Some state leaders are for or against the change. There were heated debates between Rep. Justin Jones (D-Nashville) and Rep. Kip Capley (R-Summertown) back in April.
“You can laugh all you want, but I see that your answers are non-existent, just like your hairline,” Jones said.
