Tennessee Department of Health officials confirmed July 11 the first two measles cases in the state, naming one Murfreesboro business and seven Nashville businesses where it could have spread.
“One of the individuals had been fully vaccinated against measles, while the vaccination status of the second individual is unknown,” according to a department statement. “Both individuals were exposed to a confirmed measles case outside of Tennessee.”
