Major water main break leaves several neighborhoods without water in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Old Hickory and Hermitage communities in Nashville have been dealing with some water issues for the past 12 hours.

Metro Water Services (MWS) reported a major rupture on a water main and a disabled fire hydrant on Monday.

Here’s a timeline of the infrastructure impacts:

  • 9:20 a.m. – Old Hickory – 1200 Springwood Drive (hydrant)
  • 4 p.m. – Hermitage – 1816 Barnwell Court
  • 4:30 p.m. – Hermitage – Tulip Grove
  • 6:30 p.m. – Hermitage – 12184 Old Hickory Blvd.
