NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Catherine Jean Jenkins was 54 years old and worked as a maid at the Cebon Motel in Kingston Springs.
On March 3, 1985, prosecutors said Jenkins was cleaning a motel room when she was robbed, raped and stabbed multiple times to death. Investigators said Anthony Darrell Hines checked into the motel while traveling through Tennessee.
A Cheatham County jury convicted Hines of first-degree felony murder in 1986 and sentenced him to death. Nearly four decades later, the daughter of Catherine Jean Jenkins says she is still waiting for justice.
