NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A West Tennessee judge has denied convicted killer Zachary Adams’ latest request for a new evidentiary hearing, leaving his convictions in the kidnapping, rape and murder of Holly Bobo in place.
The decision marks another legal setback for Adams, who has maintained his innocence and has previously sought a new trial.
Adams requested another evidentiary hearing after key witness Jason Autry, who testified against him during the 2017 murder trial, claimed in a videotaped interview that he lied about Adams’ involvement in Bobo’s death.
