Nothing deters Nashville mechanic John Larkin from showing up at his workplace at USA Motor & Machine every day. Notably, the main motivation for working at this age is simply that he enjoys it.
News Channel 5 covered how Larkin celebrated his 95th birthday at his workplace, where his colleagues, who affectionately call him ‘Papa John’, brought lunch and cake to make his day. Larkin has been fixing cars since 1955 and joined USA Motor & Machine when he was approaching 80. Speaking about his workplace, Larkin said:
