NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The Grand Ole Opry threw a party for Bill Anderson as he hit a milestone no one else has reached in the venue’s history.
The country music star celebrated 65 years as a member of the Grand Ole Opry, making him the longest-serving member in the show’s 100-year history. He was inducted on July 15, 1961.
