The newly installed Flock cameras are being credited with the Dickson County apprehension of a subject wanted out of Nashville.
Donald Wayne Oliver, Jr., 40, was arrested in Dickson on Friday, July 10, in connection with an alleged assault on an 84-year-old man in Nashville, according to the City of Dickson Police Department and a press release from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.
According to the press release, sometime before 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, the alleged elderly victim drove a female family friend to a gas station on Shelby Avenue in Nashville so she could meet someone. Upon arrival, the woman, later identified as Tonya D. Hamilton, 40, of Joelton, exited the vehicle and approached a four-door sedan in the parking lot.
