At around 12:04 p.m. last Tuesday, July 14, a barista working at the Cozy Nook Coffee House in Hendersonville called 911 after a fire started in the bathroom. First responders arrived within minutes, extinguishing the fire and containing it to the restroom.
Now, nine months after twin sisters Mary Ann Coulter and Diane Carey opened the coffee shop at 357 East Main Street, the Cozy Nook Coffee House family is starting the process of recovering, repairing and reopening.
