Country music has again been the driving force behind Nashville’s summer visitor economy, according to the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp (NCVC). CMA Fest presented by SoFi, held June 4-7 in downtown Nashville, generated a record $93 million in visitor spending, up from $86 million the previous year, as the 53rd annual event drew fans from all 50 states and 39 countries. Downtown hotel occupancy for the four days reached 89.4%.
Alan Jackson’s “Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale” concert at Nissan Stadium June 27 produced the second-highest hotel room demand of any weekend so far in 2026, with 78,433 rooms sold and 92% occupancy countywide. Chris Stapleton and Lainey Wilson’s May 23 stop at Nissan Stadium pushed countywide occupancy to 89%, and 96.5% downtown.
The city’s Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th celebration also set records this year, drawing an estimated 400,000 attendees, $31.6 million in visitor spending and 5.4 million viewers for its ABC special, the most-watched Independence Day primetime program of the year…
