$1M meth shipment seized by Kentucky authorities

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. (WKRN) — Forty-four pounds of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $1 million has been seized by Kentucky authorities.

The South-Central Kentucky Drug Task Force said Steven Caldwell, 49, and Amanda Tanner, 45, were arrested after they picked up a package containing the drugs in Sharon Grove.

Stolen Kentucky firearm found in Nashville

Kentucky authorities had been tracking the package through Logan County, as it had been shipped using a commercial carrier.

The task force worked with Homeland Security Investigations from the Bowling Green Field Office, the South-Central KY DTF Aviation unit, and Kentucky State Police Interdiction Team on this case.
