NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A 52-year-old Nashville man was fatally struck by a pickup truck early Saturday morning after police say he had reportedly been lying in the road.
Metro Nashville Police said the incident occurred at about 2:30 a.m. in the 5700 block of River Road.
A preliminary investigation found that a 23-year-old man from Portland, Tennessee, was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado “when he struck the pedestrian who was reportedly lying in the roadway.”…
