Hundreds of advocates and community members gathered on the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge Friday to stand in solidarity with people affected by recovery and addiction.
The gathering, known as Hands Across the Bridge, brought hundreds of participants together as part of Recovery Month and Suicide Prevention Awareness Month activities organized by the Tennessee Association of Alcohol, Drug & Other Addiction Services (TAADAS) and Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network (TSPN).
