SMYRNA, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man is in critical condition after police say a gunman opened fire on him through his front door Saturday night on Snowbird Drive.
Police say a visitor came to the home and knocked. A family friend said the couple who lives there had just returned from a pool party when they heard the knock. As soon as the man opened the door, a gunman on the other side began shooting, hitting him five times through the glass door before running off.
