NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Nashville officials are concerned by reports of rideshare and food delivery drivers routinely stopping traffic on some of the city’s busiest streets.
During Monday’s Traffic and Parking Commission meeting, commissioners discussed the challenge of holding such drivers accountable.

“We have a tremendous problem with Doordash drivers idling, parking, whatever you want to call it, in the travel lane. And we’re not seeing the enforcement,” said commissioner Lisa Haller. “They scatter when they see the blue lights coming. It’s a serious safety concern.”
