NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Rain is possible in Nashville and in many other Midstate communities late Monday.
September has been exceptionally hot all across all of Middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky. It’s been exceptionally dry, as well.
For the first 20 days of September, Nashville has tied for the driest on record with just a trace of rainfall. The other years when the first 20 days had a rainfall total of just a trace were 1903 and 1919. This remarkable statistic takes into account data spanning back 150+ years.
