Pedestrian allegedly struck by WeGo bus files lawsuit

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man who was allegedly hit by a WeGo Public Transit bus while crossing the street in Nashville last year has filed suit against the city.

The incident reportedly took place at the intersection of Hermosa Street and Dr. D.B. Todd Jr. Boulevard on Oct. 27, 2025.

Lawsuit filed against TDOT over records for Choice Lanes project

According to a lawsuit filed Wednesday, Sept. 30, the pedestrian was crossing a designated walkway at the intersection of of Hermosa Street and Dr. D.B. Todd Jr. Boulevard when he was struck by an eastbound bus.

The plaintiff claimed that since the incident, he has accrued significant medical bills for emergency care, as well as specialized treatment for brain, spine, and pain conditions. The complaint states that the man missed work due to the crash and suffered lost wages as a result…
