Nolensville police arrest 16-year-old accused of selling pills laced with fentanyl to other teens

NOLENSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Nolensville Police made a startling discovery involving teenagers buying and selling fentanyl pills. According to NPD, the investigation began as a neighborhood tip about unusual activity around a home.

Police set up surveillance and witnessed hand-to-hand drug sales right out in the open. Officers made stops on the alleged buyers and determined they had pressed pills that field-tested for fentanyl.

From there, NPD enlisted the help of the Williamson County Narcotics unit and did a controlled buy. The pills undercover agents purchased tested positive for fentanyl.

From there, officers obtained a search warrant for the house. That search warrant was executed on January 12.

Body cam showed the officers bang on the front door, shout “search warrant,” and even talk to the occupants in the home using a bullhorn.

Agents entered the home and made their way up the stairs to the room of a 16-year-old boy who police said had been selling pressed pills that tested positive for fentanyl.
