Man seen dragging body from South Nashville apartment

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 38-year-old man was arrested early Thursday morning after a neighbor reportedly saw him dragging a body from his South Nashville apartment.

Officers were called to an apartment complex on Glastonbury Road late Wednesday night and spoke with employees of the complex. A maintenance man at an apartment complex told them he saw another man drag what appeared to a body down a flight of stairs.

More apartment staff were notified and viewed security footage that showed Dominic Collier dragging the body down a hill, according to court documents. Another resident told apartment staff he saw Collier push the body down into a rain culvert.

Officers went to Collier’s apartment where he refused to speak with detectives.

The Medical Examiner recovered the body from the culvert. Metro police reported it was wrapped in two blankets and a shower curtain with a white garbage bag wrapped around the head.
