Woman charged with stabbing at Nashville bus stop

NASHVILLE, Tenn. ( WKRN ) — A 51-year-old woman was booked into the Metro jail and charged with stabbing another woman at Nashville bus stop.

Arrest records show Constance Davis, 51, has been charged in connection to the attack.

The Metro Nashville Police Department said the attack happened on Jan. 10 at the MTA Bus Station on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

The victim told officers she was attacked by Davis in the bathroom when Davis began arguing and swinging before striking the victim in the right arm, according to the arrest report.

Police said the victim had to receive medical attention and required 11 stitches.

Davis initially fled from the scene but was later matched through a photo lineup, per the arrest report.

Davis was booked into the Metro jail and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and public intoxication, officials said. Her bond was set at $40,250.
