Man Charged in Tennessee for Dragging and Dumping a Dead Body

In a Tennessee apartment complex, 38-year-old Dominic Collier has been charged with multiple offenses after being accused of dragging and dumping a dead body. The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department detailed the gruesome discovery in an arrest affidavit dated Jan. 24.

The ordeal began when a maintenance worker at the apartment complex noticed Collier dragging what appeared to be a body wrapped in blankets. Alarmed, the worker promptly informed the supervisor and the property manager. Upon reviewing the surveillance footage, the manager confirmed the worker’s disturbing observation.

Further investigation led to a resident of the complex, who reported seeing Collier dragging an unidentified object before shoving it into a rain culvert. When apartment workers checked the culvert, they were horrified to find a dead body. According to police reports, the victim was wrapped in two blankets and a shower curtain, secured with duct tape, and had a white garbage bag and a green camo backpack covering the head.
