NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – One person was killed in a crash on Interstate 24 near Murfreesboro on Friday night, the Tennessee Highway Patrol said. The crash involved two vehicles and occurred just before 6:15 p.m. between the Almaville Road in Smyrna and Interstate 840 near Murfreesboro. Lanes were closed in both directions as the vehicles ended up in the median between the eastbound and westbound lanes.
