Just two weeks ago, JaCenta was celebrating Christina’s 26th birthday. Now, the family is planning her funeral.

“You never think something like this would happen to your family, and when it does it’s just surreal. There’s not another way to describe it,” JaCenta said.

JaCenta told News 2 the family was on their way to prepare breakfast at their church when they were hit head-on while driving on Old Murfreesboro Road Sunday, Jan. 28.

“Every Sunday morning for as long as I can remember, they’ve been going to feed the church early. It’s just their normal routine, you know, nothing out of the ordinary for that day,” JaCenta explained.
