Fire investigation at Thompson Lane Krispy Kreme

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation is underway after a fire at a Krispy Kreme doughnut shop in South Nashville Sunday night.

The fire happened at the location on Thompson Lane near Nolensville Road around 10:30 p.m.

The Nashville Fire Department reported crews arrived to find flames and smoke coming from the building. Firefighters went inside to find the source of the fire and used ladder trucks to fight the fire from outside.

No one was injured in the fire, which was extinguished just before midnight.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
